GOLDEN AGE PASS:
Maryland Park Service Golden Age Pass Holders are entitled to Half-Price Camping, Sunday - Thursday, excluding holidays. Display of Golden Age Pass will be required upon check-in. MD Golden Age Pass requires a $10 fee. Information available at:

*NO ALCOHOL POLICY:
The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage is prohibited in all State Park Areas with the exception of the interior areas of Motorhomes.
TENT RESTRICTIONS:
Tents are not permitted in the Cabin area.
FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, and other invasive beetles, the Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you when visiting a DNR Property/Park.
QUIET HOURS:
Quiet time in the campground is 10pm - 7am.
Radios should be turned off and voices should not carry beyond the campsite.

Maryland tagged vehicles
Weekends and Holidays = $3 per person
Weekdays = $3 per vehicle

Children in car seats are free

NO PETS
Pets are only allowed in the North East, Elk, Miles, Choptank, Wye, and Susquehanna camping loops.

ADA CAMPER CABIN:
Camper Cabin "Oriole" has a ramp for handicap access into the cabin and is located next to the bathhouse within Chester camping loop.
CABIN AMENITIES:
Camper Cabins have a double bed, bunk bed, ceiling fan with light, and an electrical outlet. Heat and AC unit. Outside is a picnic table and fire ring.
There is NO kitchen, bathroom, or running water inside of the Camper Cabins.
Guests staying in the Camper Cabins must use the Chester Camping loop bathhouse which is 150+ feet away.
You must supply your own linens and blankets.
Wildlife Notice:
The cabins are located in a forest environment which could result in human/animal interaction. These may include mosquitos, biting flies, mice, snakes, wood roaches, crickets, mice, ants, ticks, spiders, and various other wildlife.
FISHING:
Anyone over 16 needs a fishing license to fish in the park. A Non-tidal license allows visitors to fish in the pond located behind the park store. A Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing license is required to fish in the Chesapeake Bay and it's Tributary Rivers, such as the Elk and North East Rivers which surround the park peninsula.

SWIMMING INFORMATION:
The North East Beach area offers unguarded summer water fun. There is a bathhouse with changing rooms, toilet facilities, and cold water showers. The beach area also has numerous picnic tables and a recycled tire playground. All swimming is at your own risk.

A boat is considered a Vehicle. Some sites may only accomodate one vehicle in addition to your equipment.
