GOLDEN AGE PASS:
Maryland Park Service Golden Age Pass Holders are entitled to half-off of the Camping Fee, Sunday - Thursday, excluding holidays. Display of Golden Age Pass will be required upon check-in. MINIMUM STAY:
Rustic Cabins can be reserved on a 2-night minimum stay for the entire season; Holiday Weekends (May 1 - September 30) will require a 3-night minimum stay.


*NO ALCOHOL POLICY:
The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage is prohibited in all State Park Areas with the exception of the interior areas of Motorhomes.


TENT RESTRICTIONS:
Tents are not permitted in the Cabin area.


FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, and other invasive beetles, the Maryland Dept. of Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you when visiting a DNR Property/Park.


QUIET HOURS:
Quiet time in the campground is 10pm - 7am. Radios should be turned off and voices should not carry beyond the campsite.

Alert: STINK BUGS
Please be advised that stink bugs are present and very numerous in the park at this time. This insect is harmless to humans. In the fall and spring, stink bugs find their way into warm areas, such as cabins, buildings, RVs, and vehicles. Despite staff efforts to minimize the stink bugs presence inside cabins and restroom facilities, the insect will still be found there during your visit. Please be advised that the state park is a natural environment and refunds will not be issued for the presence of insects in the park or park facilities. If you have any questions regarding stink bugs, please call the park office at 410-287-5333.

CABIN AMENITIES:
Rustic Cabins have a 2 small bedrooms (1 double bed, 1 bunk bed); A central area (1 table, 4 benches, ceiling fan, electrical sockets, and a refridgerator); A kitchinette (cold water sink and electric range/stove); an outdoor porch; and an outdoor picnic table and fire ring. There is no bathroom inside of the cabins and you must provide your own sheets/linens and utensils


IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Each site has a fire ring with a grill on top and a picnic table. The bathhouse is located in the center of each camping loop. A park Naturalist is on duty during the Summer. Programs are posted on the bulletin boards attached to each bathhouse.


Wildlife Notice:
The cabins are located in a forest environment which could result in human/animal interaction. These may include mosquitos, biting flies, mice, snakes, wood roaches, crickets, mice, ants, ticks, spiders, and various other wildlife.


FISHING:
Anyone over 16 needs a fishing license to fish in the park. A Non-tidal license allows visitors to fish in the pond located behind the park store. A Chesapeake Bay Sport Fishing license is required to fish in the Chesapeake Bay and it's Tributary Rivers, such as the Elk and North East Rivers which surround the park peninsula.

SWIMMING INFORMATION:
The North East Beach area offers unguarded summer water fun. There is a bathhouse with changing rooms, toilet facilities, and cold water showers. The beach area also has numerous picnic tables and a recycled tire playground. All swimming is at your own risk.

LIMITED PARKING:
There is a 2 vehicle limit for most sites. A boat is considered a Vehicle. Some sites may only accomodate one vehicle in addition to your equipment.
