CONSTRUCTION UPDATE - July 3, 2014
Construction of park improvements to the Ranger Julie Schweikert Nature Center and Park Store remains on schedule with the majority of the project to be completed in time for the Fourth of July weekend. Camper Registration and Concessions are now located in the 'newly renovated' Park Store near the Marina Area. Come and enjoy a relaxing time in the 'new Dining Room'. Bring a book, a tablet or lunch. Snacks, bottled drinks and ice cream novelties are available for sale.
Other areas of the park continue to be under final construction. The Camper Check-In Parking Lot can be used, but still has some final work to be completed. The Trailer Storage Lot is also available for limited use with final construction to the entrance a week or so away.
