SPECIAL PARK USE PERMITS:
In order to use amplified music, inflatibles or rides, a permit must be issued by park management. For permit information call the park office at 410-968-1565, Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
ALCOHOL POLICY:
The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage will be prohibited in all state park areas with the exception of interior areas of full-service cabins, motorhomes, and designated shelters.
Alcohol permits will only be issued through a reservation for a designated shelter, or other approved facility. A $35 fee will be charged for each alcohol permit. Permits may be revoked for cause by Park Manager, their designee or a Natural Resources Police Officer.
Internet shelter reservations requiring an alcohol permit will need to contact the Call Center at 1-888-432-2267, Mon-Fri, 8 am - 8 pm to make your reservation.

SHELTER HOURS:
Shelter rentals are from 8:00 AM to Sunset.
DAMAGE TO FACILITY:
All registered shelter users will be held responsible for any damage to state property that occurs during the time of their rental and may be charged accordingly. Damage includes destruction and defacement resulting from both willful actions (vandalism) and the misuse or overuse of facilities. Damage charges will be assessed according to the degree of damage.
FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Pleas do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.
INSECT NUISANCE:
Insects may be a nuisance at certain times of the year. Gnats, biting flies, mosquitoes, and ticks may be a problem during the spring, summer and fall. The park is located in a forest environment which could result in a problem with wood roaches, crickets, and mice.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
Beach area accessible by boat only. Shelter #2-there is no parking at the Shelter itself. There is an access road for deliveries/loading-unloading only. Parking is approximately 200 feet away.
PRICING:
Prices are subject to change without notice and reservation fees, as well as cancellation fees are non-refundable.
TRASH FREE:
Maryland State Parks are 'Trash Free'. Bring sufficient large trash bags for trash remove. All trash must be removed. Reduce/Reuse/Recycle
