Alert: STINK BUGS
Please be advised that stink bugs are present and very numerous in the park at this time. This insect is harmless to humans. In the fall and spring, stink bugs find their way into warm areas, such as cabins, buildings, RVs, and vehicles. Despite staff efforts to minimize the stink bugs presence inside cabins and restroom facilities, the insect will still be found there during your visit. Please be advised that the state park is a natural environment and refunds will not be issued for the presence of insects in the park or park facilities. If you have any questions regarding stink bugs, please call the park office at 410-557-7994.

ALCOHOL POLICY

  • Alcohol is prohibited
  • Alcohol permits cost $35 and will only be issued through the Reservation System (1-888-432- 2267) for a picnic shelter any time prior to your reservation date.
  • GOLDEN AGE PASS:
    Persons 62 years of age and older with Maryland Park Service Golden Age Pass are entitled to half-price camping Sunday - Thursday, excluding holidays. Display of Golden Age Pass will be required upon check-in. Additional service charges will be applied if unable to provide proof of valid pass. Golden Age Pass requires a $10 fee.     TWO VEHICLES PER SITE:
    MAXIMUM OF TWO VEHICLES PER SITE. SOME OVERFLOW PARKING AVAILABLE.

    Firewood Restriction:
    Due to invasive insects, importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and Managed Properties is prohibited. PLEASE DO NOT BRING FIREWOOD WITH YOU FROM HOME WHEN VISITING A DNR PROPERTY.

    FIREWOOD RESTRICTION:
    Due to the potential threat of the Emerald Ash Borer, the Maryland Department Natural Resources has prohibited the importation of personal firewood into all DNR owned and managed properties. Please do not bring firewood with you from home when visiting a DNR property.

MINIMUM STAY:
There is a 2-night minimum stay ( Friday and Saturday) and a 3- night minimum stay on Holiday weekends ( Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) Memorial day through Labor day weekends.

Quiet Hours:
Quiet time will be maintained in the campground from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Campers must arrive prior to 10 p.m.
