2015 Reservation/Transaction Fees:

In addition to the park facility use fee, there is a nightly reservation/transaction fee. Internet reservations, the per night fee is $4.56. Call Center, the per night fee is $4.61. Walk-In transactions at the park, the per night fee is $4.51. Reservation/Transaction Fees are Non-Refundable.

Enjoy spectacular views of the Chesapeake Bay headwaters! Sandy beaches, marshlands and heavily wooded bluffs rising above the Northeast River. Camping, boating, and swimming are major activities. Several trails meander through the diverse landscape, revealing the great variety of plant and animal life. An easy walking trail to Turkey Point Lighthouse provides a view of the Elk River and the Chesapeake Bay. Family Fun for everyone!

The consumption or possession of an open container of an alcoholic beverage is PROHIBITED in all State Park areas with the exception of the interior areas of MOTORHOMES.

Swimming Beach Information
Occasionally high temperatures or heavy rains can cause increased levels of bacteria in the waters of the Swimming Beach at Elk Neck State Park. To check the currently posting water quality for the North East Beach, please visit http://www.cecilcountyhealth.org/ccdhxx/ccdhbeaches.php

Lighthouse Parking The Turkey Point Lighthouse parking lot frequently fills to capacity on weekends. The best times to visit is before 10 AM or after 6:30 PM on weekends or any time during the week. You may be turned away during peak visitation hours on weekends.

2015 Campground Store Hours
The Park Store in the campground will only be open on Weekends beginning Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day:
Fridays from 5 - 9 pm
Saturdays from 8 am - 9 pm
Sundays from 8 am - 12 pm

1. Take I-95 North to Exit 100
2. Take Exit 100 onto Rt. 272 South towards the town of North East.

1. Take I-95 South to Exit 100
2. Take Exit 100 onto Rt. 272 South towards the town of North East
3. Follow Rt. 272 South for approximately 14 miles into Elk Neck State Park
