Janes Island State Park	Assateague Island State Park	Smallwood State Park
Explore the incredible beauty of tall quiet loblolly pines while taking in the beautiful coastline bordering Janes Island State Park. A paddler`s paradise, Janes Island State Park has over 2900 acres of salt marsh, 30 miles of marked water trails, and beautiful secluded beaches. Visitors also enjoy fishing & crabbing, and access the local waterways from the park`s launching ramp and boat slips. Kayak rentals are available beginning in April and motor boat rentals begin in May. Janes Island State Park, pet friendly in certain areas, offers 100 campsites, nearly half with electric; five water front heated/air conditioned camper cabins; four full service cabins, and primitive camping sites for rent. Having a meeting, seminar, family reunion or large group event? Consider renting the Daugherty Creek Conference Center, which accommodate 65 people for gatherings, with four bedrooms that sleep 16 people. Enjoy the natural beauty of Maryland`s only beachfront state park this spring, by camping at one of 350 camp sites - some with electric. This is a great time of year to surf, stroll on the beach, pony watch, and fish. Got a group outing to organize or a wedding? Assateague Island State Park is a fantastic place for friends and family outings, campouts, and wedding parties. Visit our amazing concession store, with excellent food, a range of quality items to help you learn more about the area and remember your stay. See you on the beach!	Fishing and boating anyone? Smallwood State Park is located on the Potomac River, one of the East Coast`s best locations for Bass Fishing and Tournaments occur here throughout the year. Smallwood State Park`s 628 acre park includes a 50 slip marina, six boat launching ramps, a picnic area, three pavilions, and a recycled tire playground. Fifteen camping sites and six camper cabins are available for rent during the season. The park also includes unique historic areas and miles of hiking trails. Pets are welcomed in the day use area and certain parts of the camping areas.

Maryland Park Pass

The Maryland State Park Passport is a great value at $75 for Maryland residents or for $100 for out-of-state residents. You can purchase the 2013 Passport on-line through this website.
The pass offers: unlimited day-use entry for everyone in the vehicle (up to 10 people) to Maryland's state parks and Cedarville State Forest; unlimited boat launching at most facilities; and a 10 percent discount on state-operated concessions and boat rentals. For parks with honor box systems, the pass covers entry service charges. The 2013 Passport expires December 31, 2013.
Modification or reproduction of the Maryland State Park Passport for personal or commercial use is strictly prohibited. Violators may be prosecuted. The passport is non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
